Susan Klaus is an author of fantasy and thrillers. Tor Books released her fantasy, Flight of the Golden Harpy in 2014. It won the Silver President Award for Best Fantasy. The sequel, Flight of the Golden Harpy, Waylaid was released in 2016. Both novels won the Royal Palm Literary Award for Best Fantasy and are Amazon Bestsellers for Epic Fantasy. The third novel in the trilogy comes out in 2019.

Secretariat Reborn, a Florida thriller, was released by Oceanview Publishing in 2013 and won the Silver President Award for Best Adult Fla Fiction and is an Amazon Bestseller. The sequel, Shark Fin Soup won the RPLA for Second Best Unpublished Thriller and the Silver Presidential Award for Best Action/Suspense. Klaus has also been in Amazon Top 100 Authors of Mystery/Romance.

Klaus is pres/founder of Sarasota Authors Connection Club, 200 members. For nine years she was the radio host for the Authors Connection Show with 18 million listeners. She was born in Sarasota, Fl. and resides in Myakka City, Fl. on a 40 acre farm where she has bred and raced Thoroughbred horses and now raises rodeo bulls.
